Although the weather in Cornwall is mostly fairly temperate and sunny – from time to time it does rain. Instead of letting the rain get you down however, you should look for things that you can do while it is raining.

Mining was a major industry in Cornwall during the 19th century, and its heritage remains up to this very day. If you want to find out more about it you can take advantage of a rainy day to visit some of the mining attractions – including museums, abandoned mines, caverns, and more.
Seeing as these attractions are all indoors you won’t have to worry about the rain. At the same time the abandoned mines and caverns are definitely not your conventional ‘indoor’ experience – which makes them rather unique.
As you can see there’s no shortage of things to do in Cornwall – even when it is raining cats and dogs. If you start to look into your options, it is safe to say that you should be able to find things to do that let you easily pass the time and wait for the sun to be out again.
